·      Villa de la Selva, Ixtapa - This incredible restaurant is located in Ixtapa overlooking Playa El Palmar. Designed by Architect Diego Villasenor, it was built as a home for a former Mexican president. Serving international cuisine and seafood.

·      Barcelo Ixtapa Restaurants - There are five restaurants and bars for both formal and informal sojourns in the Hotel Barcelo in Ixtapa: Veranda (informal buffets), Don Quijote (gourmet Spanish cuisine), La Palapa (lunch menu and buffet), Caracol (poolside snacks and bar) and the Cascada Bar 

·      Chili Beans Restaurant Ixtapa  - Located on Ixtapa Boulevard, Chili Beans is open daily for breakfast (blueberry waffles!), lunch and dinner, serving Mexican as well as international dishes (with burgers and chili, of course!)

·       Mamma Norma & Deborah - A wonderful restaurant in La Puerta shopping center in Ixtapa. Featuring a variety of fresh seafood, homemade Mexican dishes, pastas, well-prepared meats, and delicious desserts among their specialties. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

·      IL Mare Ristorante - Taverna - This cozy and romantic restaurant is perched on a cliff at "La Madera" beach overlooking the beautiful waters and beach's of Zihuatanejo Bay and conveniently located just a 15 minute ride from Ixtapa and easy walking distance to downtown Zihuatanejo.

·       El Pueblito - Dine in a large courtyard in a colonial Mexican atmosphere at this restaurant offering traditional dishes of the State of Guerrero, including pozole on Thursdays and barbacoa on Sundays. Located on Avenida Morelos one block from the Plaza de la Libre Expresión in Zihuatanejo

·      Coconuts Restaurant - Bar - Zihuatanejo's landmark restaurant which sets the standard for fine dining. Housed in Zihuatanejo's oldest building, Coconuts owes its success to its tradition of uncompromising quality in food preparation & service. ·       La Gula - This intimate, affordable, unpretentious gourmet restaurant is a surprising discovery though practically hidden in this quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance from downtown Zihuatanejo.

·       Rick's Bar and the Crow's Nest - Popular meeting place for drinks and gringo food offering lots of goodies during tourist season including live music, jam sessions, Internet access, trading library, and hot showers (I guess they also offer cold ones, too, should you want or need one). Located in downtown Zihuatanejo.
